FAIRFIELD YOUTH FOOTBALL SCHOLARSHIPS

Fairfield Youth Football provides scholarships to help qualifying children participate in FYF Cheer, Flag, Modified Flag and Tackle programs. We are proud as a program to be able to help families within our community and will review each application on its own merits.

Our aim is to make the process of applying simple, easy and not overly intrusive.  The information you supply will only be viewed by the FYF Scholarship Committee.  The Committee will review applications at the end of each month that registration is open and we will let you know the outcome of your request as soon as possible after these meetings.

In order to apply for a scholarship, you must first register your child / children for the program/s they wish to participate in but do not pay!

Please note the following rules and requirements for any scholarships granted:  

• All scholarship requests for fall programs must be received by Friday, July 12th 2024

• Athlete commits to attend all practices and games / performances

• Parent / Guardian commits to participate in at least 10 hours of FYF volunteer work e.g. setting up / closing field of play, chains, play counting etc. for scholarships greater than 50%, or 5 hours for scholarships less than 50%, during the course of the program for which they received the scholarship

• The maximum amount awarded per recipient family is $599 per calender year.  Per IRS guidelines, FYF is required to issue a 1099 form to any individual or family that has received $600 or more in funds or compensation in a calender year
